In November 2004 Pembrokeshire County Council signed a 4 year contract with Updata

Infrastructure UK Ltd to connect 125 schools and corporate sites. All these sites were delivered to

our full satisfaction which enabled the Council to enjoy substantial savings on Network services.

Because Updata continued to provide a good and responsive service, in September 2008,

Pembrokeshire County Council awarded Updata a further 4 year contract for the continuation and

upgrade of these Network services,

To date, Pembrokeshire County Council continues to be pleased with Updata's services and is

currently envisaging further expansion to the service.

We have been using services from Updata Infrastructure UK Ltd since March 2004.

 

These were high speed network services delivered to 133 schools and corporate sites. This network enabled Bedfordshire County Council to relise substantal savings and enabled us to upgrade and expand to faster speeds with an increase in geographical coverage.

 

In March 2009, after the County Council had divided into Bedford Borough Council and Central Bedfordshire Council, the network was enhanced to all 221 schools at much higher speeds than previously installed.

 

It is envisaged that the Updata network will be further expanded to take additional corporate sites during the next year.

 

Currently we are very happy with Updata's level of service and commitment to Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire Councils.
