Updata provides a number of high availability (99.99%) Tier 1 ISP services.

ISP feeds and capacity is provided by peering with multiple Tier 1 providers at major UK Internet ISX nodes (e.g. Telehouse).   This enables Updata to supply direct access to the Internet with low latency and the capability for genuine ISP failover and inbound/outbound Internet resilience.
This resilience supports local authorities’ increasing dependence upon 24/7 business and education applications, particularly virtual learning environments (VLEs).
