Executive Contacts

Richard Bennett – Co-founder & Executive Director

Richard’s primary focus is on the commercial and strategic development of the business.  Prior to starting Updata, Richard spent seven years working in corporate finance. Former employers include Merrill Lynch, RBS and PCW.  Richard holds an MBA from Kingston University.

Victor Baldorino – Co-founder & Executive Director

 

With a B/Tech Diploma in Computer Engineering, Vic has over thirty years sales and marketing experience within the communications industry.  Originally training as a communications engineer in the RAF, Vic moved into sales whilst working at Racal.  Senior sales positions followed with the likes of Motorola and Netrix Corp. where Vic rose to become General Manager (EMEA).  Within Updata Vic is responsible for sales and marketing, alongside his executive duties.

George Cowan – Head of Operations

George joined Updata in 2004 with over 20 years engineering and operations experience in the IT and Communications industry. Having worked extensively in the Government, Defense and Aerospace industries his previous employers included Digital Equipment Corp, Gould Electronics and Encore Computer Corp.

Julian Mantell – Head of Finance

 

Julian was appointed Updata’s Head of Finance & HR early in 2003. His extensive commercial experience was latterly employed at Empressia Group Plc as their group chief accountant.
