Updata offers a range of hosted services which complement and enhance managed networks. Hosted services are offered as an addition to the basic service-level agreement, and are offered with same high level of 24/7 support.
DNS (Domain Name Servers)
Updata provides a fully resilient, appliance-based DNS solution. Our platform provides centralised DNS records and distributed resolvers for optimised performance and resilience. This enables the customer to manage their own DNS records remotely or let Updata manage the solution for them.
Updata provides a fully resilient appliance-based mail relay service which ensures failover in the event of a failure. The solution also provides perimeter security and offers full anti-virus and anti-spam protection. It can also be configured for full integration with existing mail archiving to ensure that no mail is ever lost.
Server Hosting
Updata provides hosting for back-up, Web and application servers.
Virtual Servers
Updata provides virtual server environments, integrated within a SAN (Storage Area Network). Whole virtual machine(s) can be backed-up at block-level and replicated to secondary controllers, allowing complete restoration (including Exchange and IIS) at the secondary location in event of failure.
Data centre provision and co-location space
Updata provides data centres and co-location space, which can be integrated into the overall network design, providing clients with business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities.
